What happens to customers?
Everyone who has an active policy through Quilt will still be covered, and their policies will stay the same. The only difference is that customers will now be serviced directly by the carriers who underwrite their policies.
Quilt renters insurance customers should have received a series of emails notifying them of the service transition, along with instructions for setting up direct billing with their carrier. If you have a renters policy and haven’t yet set up billing, please do so immediately. You’ll find their contact info below.
If you need to file a claim
Florida residents can start a claim in the SFI mobile app, or by phone 24/7, 365 days a year by calling 1-877-581-4862.
